Measure a roof without anyone climbing it.

We reconstruct the house, the yard and everything around it from ordinary imagery. No ladder, no tape, no one on the roof.

Every point carries a label: roof, chimney, windows, walls, the porch, the trees over the eaves, the truck in the drive. Pick one and the rest of the property steps back.

The roof comes out of the scene as its own object, separated from the branches over it and the walls and porch under it. What is left is the surface a roofer prices.

The chimney is found the same way, so penetrations are counted rather than guessed.

Planes are fitted where the roof actually is and trimmed at the exact lines where they meet, so ridges and valleys close without gaps.

Nothing is assumed symmetric: the shallower east slope and the uneven west slopes stay as built.
